Title :

Progeny Test Programme-Tenera(T)

Objectives :

1) To progeny-test elite AAR duras and pisifera progenies for selection of superior progeny-tested parents for seed and clonal seed production.

2) To progeny-test AAR second generation Dy.AVROS pisifera and duras.

3) To identify T selfed progenies from DxT progeny-test as source of superior pisifera for hybrid seed production besides further breeding.

4) To identify outcrossed/recombinants duras and tenera parents which combine well for hybrid seed production.

5) To conduct comparative trial of commercial DxP materials from various sources.
